Hahnemühle Digital FineArt
Our collection comprises true artist papers with varying grammage and surface structures for art reproductions, photographs and digital art.
With our expertise as an artist paper manufacturer, we invented the exclusive inkjet printing papers and distribute them as the worldwide market leader. The surface variety, the impressive feel of our mould-made and cotton paper as well as their conservational properties have won international TIPA, BIPP and American Photo awards.
A premium coating on the original artist papers preserves their haptic exclusiveness and guarantees long-lasting true-to-detail prints that meet the requirements of museums and galleries (ISO 9706).
All the Hahnemühle inkjet media allow for fine art prints featuring an extensive colour gamut, best contrast and finest nuances for impressive pictures.
DIBOND® was originally developed in 1992 by 3A Composites as one of the first Aluminium Composite material for the display and signage markets. The panel combines two 0.3 mm aluminium surface layers with a polyethylene core and comes with a protective film on both sides.
The light-weight and rigid composite material is ideal for large signage applications, architectural signs, display and exhibition, POS / POP display, digital & screen printing, photo mounting, interior design, industry and transport.
• High corrosion resistance
• Excellent processing parameters, e.g. bending, routing and folding
• Absolutely flat surface
• UV & scratch protection
• Optimized for outdoor use
• Low thermal expansion compared to plastic materials
• Low weight combined with high stiffness and dimensional stability
Our prints are NOT printed directly on this material but printed on Fine Art Paper and then mounted with acid-free glue on Dibond®
What we call a coating : clear PVC overlaminates are a hybrid between thermal and pressure sensitive films, commonly referred to as laminates. They bond well to inkjet output with high ink coverage - even on photo gloss paper and digital photo laser output. They have a solvent acrylic adhesive that is initially lowtack, allowing for removal or re-positioning of the laminate until it is heat-activated. Immediately after processing, laminated graphics can be handled, rolled or trimmed. With adequate dwell time, temperature and pressure, the laminating films conform to the texture of the substrates to which they are applied. Contains UV absorbers for greater UV protection to the underlying image, ideal where specific lighting conditions cannot be controlled or images will be viewed under direct lighting from different angles . Makes handling of the product easier.
